The Project

To mark the return and restore the passion and excitement of the 2022 Toyota AFL Finals Series, the AFL commissioned, POLY, to create a bespoke OOH Spectacular.  

Creating an evolving narrative and taking the community on a journey, the power or POLY’s creative design built up suspense and curiosity across the Finals Series. Every Monday following a weekend of thrilling games, the losing teams were removed, and the winners flags repositioned, to reveal a small section of a message. A message that kept audiences engaged and the conversation right to the very end. 

Following the Preliminary Finals, the final two flags were moved and repositioned to either side of the billboard to reveal the slogan that featured across the AFL Finals Series campaign across other media channels – 8 stories, 1 ending.
